Oregon Great Grapes Wine Caddy
Oregon is now well known for growing superb wines like Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. But our wine reputation only began in 1979, when an Oregon Pinot Noir was the surprise winner of the prestigious blind tastings in Paris. Oregon has grown from a handful of wineries in the 1960's-70's to more than 500 wineries today. So serve some great Oregon wine with your crocheted caddy or give a bottle of Oregon Pinot & the Great Grapes Wine Caddy as a gift!
Tina crocheted this fun and versatile Wine Caddy for our submission to the 2016 Rose City Yarn Crawl theme Oregon Grows Great Things. Use it as a serving caddy for your wines at home, crochet one up as a gift, or just crochet the cool grapes (with or without the grape leaves) to attach to a bottle of Oregon Pinot to create the perfect hostess gift!
Tina used Knitted Wit’s Rambouillet yarn, along with Knitted Wit’s fun Gumball yarns in this design. We love supporting local and growing Oregon Indie Dyers and drinking great Oregon wines!
