Knitting for Neighbors Scarf
The Knitting for Neighbors scarf was designed in 2021 for the first Knitting for Neighbors event co-sponsored by Neighborhood House and Northwest Wools. The event was such a hit, that we decided to bring it back for 2022. During the month of November, Northwest Wools will once again donate 30% of proceeds from this kit to Neighborhood House.
Neighborhood House provides a range of services to reduce hunger and homelessness in the community. They operate a food pantry and a Senior Center in Multnomah Village, as well as the Children’s Center at the Stephens Creek Crossing affordable housing community. Their programs help more than 8,000 low-income children, families and seniors of all ethnicities across the greater Portland area.
The Knitting for Neighbors Scarf is made with 3 skeins of Berroco’s Ultra Alpaca Chunky yarn. The pattern is simple and easily memorized, making it great for TV knitting.
Kit includes a pattern and 3 skeins of Berroco Ultra Alpaca Chunky yarn. Recommended needle size: US size 10 (not included).
Un-wound yarn and like-new needles and accessories may be returned for store credit. All returns must be accompanied by a receipt.
We reserve the right to cancel classes any time before the day of the class. We will make every effort to contact students via the contact methods provided at checkout. If Northwest Wools cancels a class, students will receive a full refund.
Students may cancel their registration up to one week in advance of the beginning of class and receive a full refund. Otherwise, classes are non-refundable.
