The Knitting for Neighbors scarf was designed for the November 2021 Knitting for Neighbors event co-sponsored by Neighborhood House and Northwest Wools.
Neighborhood House provides a range of services to reduce hunger and homelessness in the community. They operate a food pantry and a Senior Center in Multnomah Village, as well as the Children’s Center at the Stephens Creek Crossing affordable housing community. Their programs help more than 8,000 low-income children, families and seniors of all ethnicities across the greater Portland area.
The Knitting for Neighbors Scarf is made with 3 skeins of Berroco’s Ultra Alpaca Chunky yarn. The pattern is simple and easily memorized, making it great for TV knitting.
Kit includes a pattern and 3 skeins of Berroco Ultra Alpaca Chunky yarn. Recommended needle size: US size 10 (not included).
