Specialty Knitting Class: Fixing Errors

Specialty Knitting Class: Fixing Errors

Saturday, May 7, 2022
3:00 pm – 4:30 pm
Instructor: Theressa Silver
Class Fee: $25

Frogging, and tinking, and dropped stitches, oh my! Mistakes happen, and in this class Theressa will teach you how to recover. We’ll go over the basics of ripping your work back both stitch by stitch (tinking) and multiple rows at a time (frogging.) Plus you’ll learn how to fix a variety of basic errors without having to rip back at all.

Please be sure to knit your swatch before coming to class, so that we’re ready to jump right in to the course material. Instructions for the swatch requirements will be provided when you register for the class.

In order to keep everyone safe, proof of vaccination is required to register for this class. Mask wearing is encouraged but not required.

Materials:

  • 30 yards of DK or Worsted weight yarn and appropriately sized needles (US #6 – 9 needles depending on yarn weight and knitting preferences.)
  • Crochet hook
  • Safety pin style stitch marker
  • DPN or straight cable needle
