General Knitting

Join a group of fellow knitters in an interactive environment. Bring your own project, or an idea for a new project you'd like to start.

These small groups allow you to receive individualized instructor coaching, as well as learning from what others are doing. You will find yourself trying new techniques knowing that the instructor, and your fellow knitters, have your back! Students of all levels find these groups fun, supportive, and creative.

General Knitting classes cost $70 for 4 weeks of instruction.

Classes with room for new students:
Thursdays 1:00-3:00 with Claire H.
Saturdays 1:30-3:30 with Claire H.
Sundays 12:00-2:00 with Claire I.
(beginning April 12)

Please call the shop at 503-244-5024 if you'd like to register.

Rigid Heddle Weaving

Learn to weave, or improve your skills! Private weaving instruction is offered in two-hour blocks on Wednesdays from 10:30-12:30. Beginners will need two sessions, during which you'll learn how to set up and use your loom, choose appropriate yarns for weaving and finish your projects.

More advanced students can schedule a single session or multiple sessions, depending on what you need help with.

You'll need a rigid heddle loom of your own, which can be ordered through the shop.

Private weaving lessons cost $90 per 2-hour session. Please call the shop at 503-244-5024 to schedule.

Wheel Spinning

Are you interested in learning to spin — or taking your spinning to a higher level? Do you want to experiment with spinning new fibers? If so, this is the class for you!

Come join an experienced and knowledgeable instructor who can teach you the joy of spinning. Class sizes are small so that each student may receive one-on-one attention.

Classes take place on Wednesdays from 1:30 to 3:00 and cost $50 for 4 weeks.

You will need your own spinning wheel in order to attend class. The shop has 2 wheels that are available to rent. Please call the shop at 503-244-5024 for more information or to register for class.
