We're excited to welcome a new Indie Dyer to our fold! Join us on Saturday, September 16, for a trunk show featuring Fiona Kay Knits yarns.
Fiona Kay is a one-woman dyeing operation right here in Portland, Oregon. When she isn’t dyeing yarn or designing patterns, Fiona’s working full time as a horse trainer and massage therapist, specializing in rehabilitation and geriatric horse care. She’s the mom of a very opinionated and fashion-obsessed toddler named Luna and a rescued mutt named Marceline.
Fiona is drawn to bright, bright neons and the darkest of moody colors. Her work has been described as “Goth Lisa Frank” or “Dolly Parton meets Elvira.” She is often inspired by goth and alternative fashions, country western aesthetics, and American traditional tattoo designs.
Join us on Saturday the 16th to meet Fiona and see all of her striking work. We'll be carrying some of Fiona's yarn in the shop, but this is your chance to see her entire line. You don't want to miss it!
