Elevate your cable knitting game by adding additional colors to your cable work. In this class we will unlock the magic of intarsia Cables — a technique for creating accent colors in your cables without carrying strands across the back of your work. The result is a fabric that makes a dramatic statement.
In this class, we'll guide you step-by-step through the process of working multiple colors in one project while knitting a swatch together. We'll cover everything you need to know to confidently knit beautiful intarsia cables, including:
• Managing multiple yarns/bobbins of yarn to keep your work tangle-free.
• Twisting your yarns to prevent holes and create clean color changes.
• Tackling the unique challenges that come with intarsia cables.
• Discussing tips on working this technique in the round.
This class is ideal for intermediate knitters who are comfortable with basic cabling and are ready to tackle a new challenge. We'll demystify the intarsia process and provide you with the skills to confidently create beautiful show-stopping projects!
